A bit about me

• I grew up in Mongolia. I studied CS (ML & Statistics focus) and Business at a startup school called Minerva (ranked #1 as the most innovative university in the world). I believe everyone should learn and explore what we can do with technology no matter what their interests are outside of it.
• I know I can choose and live the life I want to live, and I hold myself to high standards (in areas that are important to me). I’m grateful that I was born and am healthy in the fundamental ways.
• I love hanging out with and working alongside forward-thinking, talented/hard-working, and very motivated individuals. My aspiration is to make a significant positive impact on a global scale.

• I enjoy taking risks. Uncertainty and ambiguity don’t scare me. I’m highly adaptable and capable of shifting perspectives quickly and sensibly. (I attribute this to growing up in a developing country, having entrepreneurial parents, and moving ~10 times, going to a startup college with people from 50+ countries/cultures)
• I’m optimistic. I like to think that most people have positive intentions.
• I have come to realize that a sense of learning/growth and a sense of belonging/togetherness are very important to me. In any context, if I don’t find any of these where I’m at, I’d be ready to jump ship…
• I’ve been told I’m kind, friendly, straightforward, and trust-worthy.
  • If there’s a miscommunication or difference in opinions, or when I notice a problem, I’d resurface it and want to discuss with you sooner rather than later. I don’t see it as arguing. I see it as we’re solving a problem together, and I actually really enjoy these discussions. I feel these moments improve a sense of connection and clarity in the relationship too.

In case you’re curious about the cover image: this image taken by the JWST (launched in Dec 2021) — its first full-color capture! — shows the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723 as it would have looked 4.6 billion years ago. It is the deepest and sharpest image of the distant universe ever observed in infrared. I like it a lot.
